About

김유빈  Pitakim

Pita Kim is a visual artist with a background in spatial design, creating research- and narrative-driven environments that play with configuration and sculptural language. Her work combines sensorial media, spatial systems, and visual language to transform intangible conditions into embodied forms, often articulated through installation.

Within this approach, her practice moves in circular rhythms, composing digital images, sound, and written language. Here, poetic metaphor—infused with a sensibility rooted in Korean poetics—serves as a bridge between perception and meaning. At the same time, she critiques human-centered perspectives, focusing instead on communication and relationships with non-human entities—objects, machines, and systems. Through this, she questions how we might regain agency not by control, but by listening, moving, recalibrating, and tracing our place within these networks.
