Memo is a *new* event intertwining the thresholds of playing sounds, participation and performance, or just being present in the room by doing perhaps the most important thing; listening. This first edition is all about untanglement. All Tangled up moves through the layering of sound as it is a knot. Then listening is the gentle act of loosening, unraveling, discovering what hides in its layers. It isn’t about finding solutions… It is rather about tracing how things intertwine, how we twist, unknot notes, and unfold. There will be an opportunity throughout the evening to participate in literal untangling of tangled objects. But there’s also the possibility to listen to the sounds played by guest Mathilde Nobel and Memo residents; Encrail & Sunflower Hennessy.
