This project translates light phenomena into sound by observing caustics formed when light passes through transparent material. Using a solar cell, variations in light intensity are captured and converted into sonic signals, creating a record of interaction between light and glass. The resulting sounds document fleeting moments of spatial and temporal occupation—events that emerge through nonhuman material exchange. The work explores how perception and interaction arise within material systems, proposing sound as a medium for tracing invisible relations between light, matter, and space.
