When the light touches your skin2025
Chasing, and following the light not only with eyes, but also with my hand, sense of touch, the edge of perception. Extracts from the light reflection, rearragned configuration of the light trace every second. Also, this is practice of connecting my perception, mind, body within the presence and time.

This project translates light phenomena into sound by observing caustics formed when light passes through transparent material. Using a solar cell, variations in light intensity are captured and converted into sonic signals, creating a record of interaction between light and glass. The resulting sounds document fleeting moments of spatial and temporal occupation—events that emerge through nonhuman material exchange. The work explores how perception and interaction arise within material systems, proposing sound as a medium for tracing invisible relations between light, matter, and space.

This project questions whether a phenomenon can be considered natural when shaped by human intervention. Using light-based distortions and reflections, it explores how visual appearances can obscure underlying conditions. Referencing water contamination in the Biesbosch, the work contrasts visible pollution, such as oil on the surface, with invisible contaminants like microplastics and PFAS. It focuses on the gap between what we see and what actually affects ecosystems and human life, examining how human-made processes increasingly operate beneath the surface of natural environments.

Jam with invisible relationship

2025

Jam with Invisible Relations is a sensory and participatory workshop that explores how we can re-attune to invisible relations between humans and non-human entities. Starting from an everyday object — a water bottle — that sparked the artist’s reflection on attention and relation, and extending through the archival box connected to The Clock Wife, A Tale of a Tub exhibition, the session invites participants to listen, touch, and respond to objects as living companions. Through sound, drawing, and shared reflection, participants collectively explore how invisible connections emerge — between object and body, story and sound, physical presence and digital translation. This workshop aims to recalibrate our sensory perception, expanding our understanding of care, community, and coexistence beyond the human.
